There are two main federal government reward programs which pay whistleblowers significant rewards for reporting frfaud against the government. The first is administered by the U.S. Department of Justice. The second is the new IRS whistleblower reward program. These two programs are described in depth in the website: www.HowToReportFraud.com and in 2 user friendly books:

Whistleblowing: A guide to government reward programs (How to collect millions for reporting fraud); and

Reward: Collecting Millions for Reporting Tax Evasion, Your Complete Guide to the IRS Whistleblower Reward Program

If a company or person cheated on any federal contract or program, such as Medicare, the military, the Postal Service, Department of Education, you can receive between 15% and 30% of the amount the government recovers based upon your report. So far, the government has paid more than $2 billion in rewards to citizens like yourself.

The newest area where rewards are available is fraud under the TARP and Bailout programs. The government is paying out nearly $3 trillion in funds under these new government programs. It is estimated that between 10% and 30% of these funds will be lost to fraud. The government is asking you to report fraud and is willing to pay sizable rewards to encourage whistleblowing.

The IRS is also paying rewards for reporting those who underpay taxes.

Many states have enacted similar reward programs and pays whistleblowers huge rewards to report those who cheat the states under contracts or programs, such as Medicaid or any of its programs.
